Gode Hawthorne
Gode was born in 1490 as the first child and daughter of Wallo and Nota Hawthorne. Her grandfather despised her for being born female, and after years of cleaning and serving her family, she was married off to Walter Grey in 1506. Walter passed away that same year, leaving Gode pregnant. The following year, both she and her baby died during childbirth.
The second daughter, Amicia, had only a short life. Born in 1491, she lived just long enough to feel her grandfather's resentment, passing away at only five years old in 1496.

Born in 1494, Apsey grew up to suffer sexual exploitation by her brother during his early puberty. She died in 1517 from the sweating sickness.
Peter Hawthorne (Heir)
Peter's birth in 1496 brought his parents joy, as he was their first son after years of having daughters. He watched many family members, including his own parents, succumb to the sweating sickness. Idolizing his grandfather, Peter adopted his misogynistic beliefs. In his early teens, he used his youngest sister for his own pleasure, ending this behaviour only when he married Anabella Acker in 1517.
Together, they had three daughters, all of whom he despised until a son, his heir, was born. He felt no remorse for his daughters' short lives, calling it God’s blessing that he did not have to support them until they were old enough to marry and bear children. He married off his youngest daughter and then arranged a marriage for his son.
Peter did not live to see any grandchildren, passing away in 1551 due to the sweating sickness.
