Gen 22

Note: I should note here that I had installed some mods to make the medieval times more realistic (the cousin and teen marriage stuff) and forgot about those mods. I took a break while playing this generation and forgot about the mods.

Arthur Hawthorne

Stillborn in 1842

Ezekiel Hawthorne

Stillborn in 1842

Edna Hawthorne

Stillborn in 1845

Hazel Hawthorne (1847 - 1929)

Hazel was the first child to survive birth. She spent her toddler years in the wild west and experienced the start of a huge cultural change during her lifetime. Her childhood was spent playing with her twin brother Colt.

In 1860, she started a secret sexual relationship with her brother and ended up carrying his child, who was born in 1863. She was disowned by her parents and sent away after she also started sexual relations with her younger brother Rodney.

At some point in the 1860s, she married Tim Osten (1844-1912) and had six children with him:

Quentin Osten (1869 - 1875), Florence Osten (1870 - 1936),          Mariah Osten (1872 - 1946),William Osten (1874 - 1875),               Alma Osten (1876 - 1948), Anastasia Osten (1880 - 1948).

Colt Hawthorne (1847 - 1912)

Colt was the first son to survive birth. He and his sister grew up during times of industrialization and change. He started a romantic relationship with Hazel but had to stop after their parents found out and threatened to disown him.

In 1869, Colt married Anne Brewster (1851 - 1881), and together they had several children. In 1888, Colt made the decision to move into the city due to industrialization, with the hope of making more money there than on the farm.

In 1895, he witnessed the consequences of reproducing with his sister, as he watched the offspring slowly die from cancer, but this might have just been the consequence of them smoking a lot of cigarettes. We won't know for sure. He spent his later years working in a factory.

Rodney Hawthorne (1849 - 1914)

Rodney was born as an emergency C-section, causing his mother's passing. In 1869, he joined the marines and left home. His fate is unknown.

Gen 21

Lydia Hawthorne (Stillborn, 1807)

Since she died before birth, she was, unfortunately, a great disappointment to her parents.

Eliza Hawthorne (1809 - 1829)

Eliza spent her life working on the farm. After receiving the smallpox vaccine in 1816, she no longer feared contracting the disease. Little did she know that cholera would take her life in 1829.

Annabelle Hawthorne (1809 - 1825)

Like her older sister, Annabelle spent her life working on the farm. In 1825, she suddenly dropped dead—likely from an aneurysm.

Gordon Hawthorne (Stillborn, 1809)

Much like his sister Lydia, Gordon proved to be a true disappointment, as he didn’t even attempt to live. His father was deeply saddened that his potential heir passed away before birth.

Nina Hawthorne (Stillborn, 1811)

Not much to say here.

Sebastian Hawthorne (1813 - 1875)

The heir of this generation was a true blessing to the family, considering that half of his older siblings were stillborn. He spent his childhood working in the fields. Cholera was a constant threat during his youth, having already taken the lives of several siblings.

After surviving childhood, he married Emily Smith (1813 - 1849) in 1838. However, his misery was only just beginning. His first three children were all stillborn. In 1849, Emily underwent an emergency C-section, which led to her death during childbirth.

During the Wild West era, Sebastian dedicated his time to raising his children and working on the farm. To his disaproval, two of his children started a secret relationship, making him a grandfather at an early age—and a deeply disappointed one at that. In 1875, cholera finally caught up with him, leading to his death.

Cadmus Hawthorne (1825 - 1829)

After being infected by his sister Eliza, Cadmus died young from cholera.

Gen 20

Mary as a child
Mary Hawthorne (1774 - 1804)

Mary was the first of the triplets and the only girl. She experienced loss from an early age due to smallpox and war. She spent most of her life in the background, taking care of the house and her siblings.

In 1800, she married Clement Frost and had four children:

  • Ophelia Frost (stillborn, 1800)
  • Amelia Frost (stillborn, 1801)
  • Walter Frost (1802 - 1846)
  • Clara Frost (1804 - 1804)

After giving birth to her last child, Mary fell ill and passed away shortly after.

Jonathan Hawthorne (1774 - 1850)

The heir of this generation, Jonathan was born five minutes after his older sister and nine minutes before his younger brother. Like his sister, he grew up surrounded by war and death.

In 1805, he married Lucia Tucker (1778 - 1846). They struggled to conceive their first child, which then decided to be stillborn. After several daughters, they finally had a son in 1813. Unfortunately, most of their children died young due to smallpox and other illnesses.

In 1816, the entire family received the smallpox vaccine because Jonathan loved his children and wanted to them alive. He lived a quiet life and passed away in 1850, spending his later years in the Wild West.

William Hawthorne (1774 - 1787)

The youngest of the triplets lived a short life. He caught smallpox and passed away in 1787.

Sandy Hawthorne (1776 - 1876)

Sandy was the first American-born member of the family. She spent her childhood in the background and married Tanner O'Brian (1770 - 1850) in 1801.

Together, they had seven children:

  • Marvin O'Brian (1803 - 1820)
  • Callie O'Brian (stillborn, 1805)
  • Emily O'Brian (1806 - 1817)
  • Vera O'Brian (1808 - 1815)
  • Olive O'Brian (1810 - 1811)
  • Eva O'Brian (1811 - 1812)
  • Lizette O'Brian (1813 - 1898)

Gabrilla Hawthorne (1776 - 1789)

Gabrilla was the second American-born member of the family. Sadly, she lived a short life, passing away from smallpox in 1789.

James Hawthorne (1776 - 1811)

James was the last child born in this generation. He spent his childhood playing in the woods and working in the fields.

In 1804, he married Patience Pineda (1780 - 1820), and together they had four children:

  • Llewellyn Hawthorne (1805 - 1807)
  • Clement Hawthorne (stillborn, 1806)
  • Francis Hawthorne (1807 - 1809)
  • Lily Hawthorne (1809 - 1810)

Gen 19

(Note: I made this as historically accurate as possible)

Jacob Hawthorne (1753 - 1828)

The heir of this generation is the firstborn son of Finney and Claire Hawthorne.

Jacob spent the first seven years of his life during the Seven Years' War. He only truly met his father in 1763 after Finney returned from serving in the war. In 1766, due to the Quartering Act, two soldiers temporarily moved into their household.

In 1773, Jacob married Juliet Brandis (1756 - 1825). Soon after, they had triplets. In 1776, they had a second set of triplets—apparently, they had a knack for producing children in large numbers. This set of triplets became the first Americans in the family. Sadly, not all of their children survived childhood, with some passing away at a young age.

In 1812, Jacob was drafted to fight in the War of 1812. Later in 1816, he and the rest of his family received the first vaccine in their bloodline—the smallpox vaccine. Jacob spent the rest of his years surrounded by his grandchildren.

Gabrilla Hawthorne (1754 - 1828)

Born during the Seven Years' War, Gabrilla spent her early years without a father figure. In 1766, two soldiers moved into their house. Gabrilla soon developed a romantic relationship with one of them, Patrick Bateman (1737 - 1822), and got knocked up. The same year she became pregnant, she was forced to marry Patrick.

Together, they had seven children:
  • Amanda Bateman (1767 - 1795)
  • Sarah Bateman (1769 - 1770)
  • Archibald Bateman (1771 - 1773)
  • Eugene Bateman (1773 - 1773)
  • Cassandra Bateman (1777 - 1778)
  • Homer Bateman (1777 - 1786)
  •
